Viduka out for 6 months

BBC News are reporting that Mark Viduka could be out of action for a further six months, if he requires further surgery on his injured achilles. He has flown to Australia for a scan (because obviously, we don’t do scans on achilles in the UK??!!???).

Viduka has not played a game for Newcastle since May, but has scored 7 times in 21 appearances prior to that.
